How much does it cost to have a wedding at Venture Christian?
Costs vary according to venue and whether the bride and groom are members.  See General Wedding Fees.

What are the different venues for weddings at Venture Christian?
The Worship Center holds approximately 1,100 people, the Venue 2 hold about 500 people, Common Ground holds about 65 people.  Our outside sites hold approximately 25-100 people comfortably.

What are the measurements of the Worship Center?
The Worship Center has five aisles with 12 theatre style seats across from aisle to aisle. The last two rows hold nine seats across. Center aisle measures 6’ 5” wide, while the other four are 5’ 5” wide.

Who cleans up after the ceremony?
The family is responsible for everything they bring with them. The custodians are responsible for the church facility.

How do I know what dates are available?

Am I required to use the wedding coordinator and custodian?
Yes.  Both of these staff members are there to help guide your wedding experience and make it a less stressful day.

Can I use the Venue 2 for my rehearsal dinner or reception?
Yes, the Venue 2 is available at this time.  We will charge for the use of the room and the kitchen.

Can I still have my wedding with Venture Christian Church if I’m not a member or regular attendee?
Unfortunately at this time we are only accepting wedding requests for members and regular attendees.

Does Venture Christian provide pre-marital counseling classes?
Yes, each couple must have pre-marital counseling.

1. Venture Christian offers an engaged Couples Seminar four times a year.  The cost for this seminar is $40.00.    Please contact kdeeter@venturechristian.org for times and dates to register.

2. You may seek private counseling from a professional licensed Christian Counselor.

How do I get started?

1.  Make an appointment with the staff pastor you would like to perform your wedding.
2. You can also download an application or contact the Connections and Hospitality Minister, Deborah Omori at domori@venturechristian.org any time.  Once this is complete, you can turn it in with a $300 deposit check made out to Venture Christian Church.
3. Contact Deborah to check possible wedding dates.  A completed application and deposit are needed to secure your date.  Then, you will be assigned a coordinator who will meet with you a minimum of two times before your wedding date.  She will also be available for your entire wedding rehearsal and wedding day at Hicks Road.

   PLEASE NOTE: All weddings are not considered approved until a pastor has met with the bride and groom and has given this approval for the wedding. In addition, the bride and groom must have completed pre-marital counseling prior to the wedding date.

How do I submit my application and $300 deposit?
You can either bring them to the church office or mail them to Venture Christian Church at 16845 Hicks Road, Los Gatos, California 95032.  Either way, make sure the envelope is clearly marked “Weddings”.
