Chip Ingram, Senior Pastor

Chip Ingram is Senior Pastor of Venture Christian Church in Los Gatos, California and President of Living on the Edge, an international teaching and discipleship ministry that provides practical help for everyday believers. He has a unique ability to communicate truth and winsomely challenge people to live out their faith.

As a pastor for more than 25 years, Chip is passionate about helping Christians really live like Christians by raising the bar of discipleship. He has pastored churches of 500 in Texas to 5,000 in California. He also served five years as president of Walk Thru the Bible. Chip holds an M.S. degree from West Virginia University and a Th.M. degree from Dallas Theological Seminary.

Chip is author of 11 books, including his latest release, Overcoming Emotions That Destroy. Reaching more than a million people a week, his teaching can be heard on hundreds of radio stations and multiple television outlets worldwide, as well as the internet. Chip and his wife, Theresa, have four adult children and six grandchildren.

Rick Linamen, Executive Pastor

Rick Linamen is the Executive Pastor at Venture Christian Church. He brings many years of expertise and ministry experience which include serving as Executive Pastor at the Rock in San Diego, California and Scottsdale Bible Church in Arizona where he helped facilitate tremendous growth. Rick has been married to his wife, Kathy, for 30 years and they have three children and four grandchildren.

Lance Witt serves as one of the key players of Venture’s Teaching Team. Prior to founding Replenish (a ministry to refresh and refocus the inner lives of pastors), Lance served as Executive/Teaching Pastor at Saddleback Church. He led Saddleback’s Spiritual Growth Campaigns, such as 40 Days of Purpose and 40 Days of Community. His broad spectrum of ministry experience, his strategic thinking gifts, and his passion for spiritual formation give him a unique ability to peer into the soul of a leader and the soul of a church. Lance has been married to his wife, Connie, for 30 years and they have two married children.

As Venture’s Pastor of r12 Communities, Mark believes that God specifically designed him to help the local
church create environments where people can connect, belong and grow to full maturity in Christ. He also has a passion to develop next generation leaders who desire deeper biblical community in a relationally isolated world. Mark and his wife, Carrie, have been married for 23 years and have the pleasure of being the parents of their grown daughter, Candace.

As Venture’s Pastor of r12 Worship, Jerry believes that God has called him to unleash artists in the church to realize their biggest dreams for God. He has a strong desire to see them grow in their walk with God, offer authentic and excellent worship to the Lord, and influence culture with their gifts for God’s Kingdom. Jerry and his wife, Amy, just celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary and have three beautiful daughters: Miranda (7), Aria (6) and Ella (3).
